Cossack is near the  town of Wickham approximately 50km out of Karratha.

The trail has been divided into a walking trail and a driving trail. There is alot to explore for historians, naturalists, archaeologists, local residents and visitors.

There are unprotected wells, areas of broken galss and privately owned land, so it is recommended that people so not stray from clearly marked paths. Also careful consideration is to be given to attempting this walk in hot weather.
