Not one of the best trails in the Mt Lennard network, but the Butchers Trail gives you an easier option to get from Lennard Road to the top of Wals and onto the Lennard Half Circuit. In 3.2 km the trail climbs 119 m and descends 154. It's best ridden south to north.
Likely to be a single trail with moderate gradients, variable surface and obstacles. Suitable for skilled mountain bikers with good standard of fitness using mountain bikes.

Did this trail on 22 May 2020. Was heavily overgrown and several fallen trees/bushes on track.
Not a purpose built single track MTB trail, seemed more like a hiking trail. Not particularly interesting but quite challenging in the steep ups/downs and washed out sections.
Trails are free and bring so many benefits to our community by providing opportunities to have fun, get fit, socialise, explore and challenge yourself. But they also have to be managed and maintained which only is made possible through terrific sponsors, donations and/or volunteering.
