The Hoffman Mill campground and picnic area managed by DBCA will close from Monday 7 November 2022 due to adjacent ALCOA mining operations.

This closure means the Bridge Trail will be closed.

      No bushwalking experience required. The track is a hardened or compacted surface and may have a gentle hill section or sections and occasional steps. Walks no greater than 10km. Suitable for families with young children.

An easy 2.4 km loop walk located at the site of the old Hoffman Mill and town. Discover the remnants of the mill and railway line that serviced this area. Follow the signs along Clarke Rd, from Logue Brook Dam.

Step back in time and take a walk through the former Mill town of Hoffman and the surrounding forest.  Interpretive signs help to showcase some of the remnants of the workings of the town.

This pleasant walk winds across the bridges over the Harvey River and then slopes up to explore the jarrah forest and suitable for most ages and fitness levels.  Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the surrounding area.  You can camp here between the 1st November and the Easter holidays each year.

Observant walkers may catch glimpses of forest birds, such as the golden whistler and splendid fairy wren.

Lovely short walk through the forest and the old Hoffman mill and town site. The picnic facilities and campground at the start of the trail were really nice.
