The Goat Farm Mountain Bike Park contains over 20km of mountain bike trails and a dedicated Skills Park with skills and jump areas. The Goat Farm trails range from Easy (Green) to Extreme (Double Black) and include four trails suitable for adaptive cyclists.

Skills Area - The Goat Farm Skills Park - The one entry berm leads to three skills trail lines through the chunky rock garden. Stay right for the Blue Skills trail. Riders like to use this as their rock garden warm-up. Loop back to the start on Bada Mandoo.

Recommended for moderate intermediate riders with some technical mountain biking experience. Typically narrow trails with loose, soft, rocky or slippery sections and hills with short steep sections. Riders will encounter obstacles and technical trail features.

Difficulty Notes

The Goat Farm Skills Park rock garden is a Moderate to Extreme experience, depending on which line you take.  Stay Right on the Blue Skills line for a Moderate experience.  The Black Skills Line is Difficult.  The Double-Black Line is at the extreme level of difficulty.

Hazards & Warnings

Summer months (December to April) can be extremely hot. Carry a full water bottle. Trail has a natural surface and may include granite and rock, so caution is advised. Take care to choose the trail that suits your ability level.  The rock-garden has rock drop offs and steep drops. The Double-Black line through the rock garden has committing gap jumps that are suited to very experienced riders.

Safety

In case of an emergency on the trail, always carry a mobile phone and basic first aid supplies. The nearest hospital is St John of God Midland Public Hospital.

The main trailhead is adjacent to the car park. Trailhead facilities include toilets, picnic tables, an information shelter and shaded areas to take a break between rides.

Located off Greenmount Rise in Greenmount. Accessible by Road, Ride from Midland Train Station, or Ride all the way there.
