Built to hold speed, it is pure fun and bound to be crowd favourite! If you need even more excitement, take the optional black line, Scabracadabra, to the end.

Barney White was the District Forest Officer in Pemberton in the early 1960's. He planned the Arboretum and oversaw its development and the planting. The purpose was to see how different eucalypt and pine species of commercial importance might grow in the Pemberton area. Although it is no longer maintained as an arboretum, it does bring another of Barney's dreams to life - the concept of multi use of forests. He thought the best way to preserve forests was to make sure they were accessible for people to appreciate. Hiking and MTB trails are a great way to get people out into the forests.

Take Messed Up or Redwoods to the trail node to ride and appreciate Barney. Take a moment to acknowledge this legend of forestry as you ride through the karri plot - he is there in spirit!
