Learn moreAbout Australind Jetty Walk Trail
The Australind Jetty Walk Trail is a pleasant 2.3km return trail that features stunning views of the Leschenault Estuary (Derbal Elaap). The trail commences on a sealed path from the Leshenault Inlet Eco Museum and continue on a boardwalk and gravel trail. It finishes at a wooden jetty in the middle of the estuary
Along the trail there are several waterbirds that can be observed and benches to rest at. The estuary is one of Western Australia’s most significant migratory bird wetlands. Keep an eye out for dolphins that frequent the estuary. You can also watch the windsurfers and kiteboarders surfing along the estuary. Fishing and crabbing at the jetty is popular.
