Located in central Collie, this accessible dual-use trail is ideal for families, walkers, riders, and anyone after a gentle, relaxing outing. The sealed surface is suitable for prams and wheelchairs, with mostly gentle gradients and a short steep section near the East End Bridge.
Begin your loop at Soldiers Park, where you’ll find trailhead signage, toilets, picnic tables, BBQs, a playground, and a skate park—making it a great place to start or finish your trail experience.
The trail follows both sides of the Collie River, starting from the Co-op Bridge. Walk or ride along one bank to the East End Bridge, then return along the opposite side, enjoying views of the water and surrounding bushland.
Along the way, take time to explore the Collie Arboretum, established between 1922 and 1929 for forestry research. The arboretum features a diverse mix of native and introduced tree species, including Western Australian karri, bishop pine, swamp mahogany, and many others. The trees are beautifully floodlit at night, adding a unique touch for evening visits.
