Start your adventure in Walpole and follow Once Upon a Time down to a bridge across Collier Creek. Take a right turn to keep following this trail. You'll briefly join the Munda Biddi Trail before turning onto the Bibbulmun Track and heading back to Walpole. Along the way, you'll get views out over the Nornalup Inlet at Delaney Lookout and you can stop for a swim or a picnic at Coalmine Beach before strolling back to Walpole.Â

This route is accessible from Walpole Trailhead, behind Walpole-Nornalup Visitor Centre which is in Walpole, 412km 2WD south of Perth.
Starts at the Walpole Trailhead, behind Walpole-Nornalup Visitor Centre, located in Pioneer Park on South Coast Highway in Walpole.
Class 3
Moderate trail that may have short steep hills, rough surface, many steps or some rock hopping. Directional signage. Some bushwalking experience and moderate fitness required.
Group B - Hiking & Long Distance Trails (Bushwalks and/or longer trails)
Once Upon a Time is a dual use trail. Watch for cyclists.Â
Be aware of obstacles such as fallen branches or trees along trail.
