Yallingup Walk Trails

Yallingup

The Yallingup Walk Trails take you through a mix of woodland and coastal heath, winding over limestone cliffs, through Yallingup and its surrounds. In spring, wildflowers bring bursts of colour to the surrounding vegetation. Along the way, take time to explore the beautiful beaches, boutique shops, rich culture and history. The Wardanup Trail also passes by Ngilgi Cave, adding another highlight to your journey.

Trail terrain includes sealed footpaths, beaches with soft sand and steep dunes, sandy and rocky tracks and steep hills. The trails are well defined and connect with one another, making it easy to choose a shorter, leisurely walk or a longer more difficult option depending on your time and fitness ability. The Cape to Cape Track follows the coastline, sharing many sections of these trails.

Getting there:

Yallingup is located 258km south of Perth and a 10-minute drive south-west of Dunsborough, along Caves Road and Yallingup Beach Road.

Access:

There are multiple access points for these trails throughout Yallingup. Set out on the Wardanup and Torpedo trails from Yallingup Foreshore. Quenda Trail access is from the carparks at Smiths Beach or Torpedo Rock. Rabbit Hill, with its lookout, carpark and toilets is a popular place to connect to both the Wardanup Trail and the Cape to Cape Track.

Safety and facilities:

Public toilets are located at Yallingup Foreshore, Smiths Beach and Rabbit Hill. There are also public showers at Yallingup Foreshore and Smiths Beach.
