Tom's Crossing Mountain Bike Trails

Toms Crossing MTB Trails offers a purpose-built downhill mountain bike experience within Lane Poole Reserve, just south of Dwellingup. Nestled within the jarrah forest, the network is designed for riders seeking steep descents, technical terrain and gravity-focused riding, providing some of the most challenging mountain bike opportunities in the Murray Region.

This compact trail network caters primarily to intermediate, advanced and expert riders, with a mix of blue and black-rated trails featuring natural rock features, technical trail elements and optional advanced lines. The network is predominantly shuttle-accessed, allowing riders to maximise downhill riding while reducing the need for climbing trails within the reserve.

As part of the broader Dwellingup Adventure Trails system, Toms Crossing complements the cross-country riding experiences available at nearby Murray Valley and Dwellingup Trails by providing a dedicated gravity riding destination. The network supports nature-based recreation and mountain bike tourism while encouraging riders to enjoy and appreciate the unique natural environment of Lane Poole Reserve.

Getting There

The Toms Crossing MTB Trails are located approximately 5km south of Dwellingup within Lane Poole Reserve. Trail access is via Park Road and the Shuttle Access Road, with dedicated parking available at the lower trailhead. A shuttle vehicle is recommended, as the network does not include a dedicated climbing trail.
