About The Arboretum Trail Network
The Arboretum was planted in the 1960’s and 70’s to determine which trees of potential commercial importance might grow well in the Pemberton area. It now provides a unique riding and walking experience against a backdrop of many different tree species. You’ll see some of the world’s tallest tree species, stands of eucalypts from eastern Australia and deciduous trees from the northern hemisphere.
With 24 trails to choose from, there is a trail for every rider from easy flow trails with gentle rollers to fast, technical descents for advanced riders. Choose your level and build up your skills.
Hikers, there are a couple of shared use trails here and a dedicated walk trail which takes you around the wetland in the centre of the Arboretum.
Getting There
The Arboretum is located in the centre of Pemberton which is approximately 325km south of Perth. Access the carpark and trailhead from the Vasse Highway or off Forestry Glen. You can ride from Pemberton and there's easy access between the Pemberton Mountain Bike Park and the Arboretum.
