Hiking trails lead you deep into this awe-inspiring forest and up close and personal with some of the Giants.

The Giants Trails provide countless ways for the whole family to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature, where every twist and turn uncovers a new dimension. You can choose an adventure to suit your experience, time frame and interests. From short walks to full day rides, there is something here to suit everyone.

Trails

The mountain bike trails are typically flowing open trails on firm terrain with gentle gradients. Surface may be uneven, loose or muddy at times. Riders may encounter small rollable obstacles and technical trail features. Recommended for beginner mountain bikers. The hiking trails are classified as moderate trails that may have steep sections and rough surfaces. A moderate level of fitness is recommended.

Getting There

The Giants Trails link the towns of Walpole and Nornalup with the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. Walpole is 420km south of Perth. Both trailheads have sealed road access, toilets and picnic tables.

Ride or walk with a buddy and be aware that mobile phone reception is not reliable in the forest. Download the trail maps from TrailsWA before you go. Be aware of sticks or branches down on the trails. If you come across a tree down, please report it to Walpole Parks and Wildlife Service on 9840 0400.
