Star Swamp Bushland Reserve
About the Trail
A picturesque walk through 96 hectares of native bushland and wetland. Star Swamp is an A-Class Reserve with significant heritage importance.
It includes an informative 1.4km Heritage Trail that runs from the Henderson Environmental Centre in the south, to Mary Street in the North. The reserve also provides countless opportunities for birdwatching and to see native wildflowers, orchids, and a chance encounter with a Quenda, all in the middle of suburbia.
Limestone trails are plentiful throughout the reserve, allowing walkers to ‘choose their own path’ making the reserve ideal for walkers of all fitness levels.
