Skinny Dip Bay Walk, Woody Island Nature Reserve


Explore the northern side of Woody Island on a peaceful walk to Skinny Dip Bay. This 1.5km return, moderately difficualt walk will take you to a small, rocky but sheltered bay.  The trail starts in the playground and leads over the hill past the telephone tower.  Look out for the kangaroos.

About the Trail

Woody Island is one of the many islands that make up the Recherche Archipelago.
It is an 'A' Class Nature Reserve managed by the Department of Parks and Wildlife. Unlike most nature reserves it has a special purpose that allows for nature-based tourism.  During your visit please tread lightly and help protect this special place.
