Top Trail:  Reabold Hill Summit Boardwalk, Bold Park, Floreat

About the Trail

The elevated boardwalk immerses visitors in a bushland experience as they journey to the summit.  Stretching over 200m, the boardwalk incorporates interpretive signs, seating, artwork inspired by life in a Tuart tree and 14 timber landings to take in the views.  Restoration planting using local, indigenous plants enhances the existing flora which features banksias, wattles, quandongs and other limestone loving plants such as the Cockies Tongue. Over 80 species of birds, brushtail possums, bats, frogs, and reptiles including geckos, lizards, skinks and snakes also inhabit the area.

Over 15 kilometres of walking and horse trails dissect this beautiful park and suit various fitness levels. A map and brochure can be accessed at or is available at the Western Australian Ecology Centre, Perry Lakes Drive, Floreat.
