About the Trail

Located in Fitzgerald National Park, Point Ann marked the start of the rabbit proof fence and there is a section of the fence still to be seen on this trail. Point Ann was also the site of mallet loading onto long boats in the 1920's.   During winter southern right and humpback whales may be spotted in the bay.   This is an easy walk on a defined path, with information boards along the route.

Point Ann picnic area offers BBQ's, large covered areas and seating for groups on platforms for whalewatching.
