Portagabra Track, Mundaring

About the Trail

The Portagabra Track takes walkers though some beautiful jarrah forest, winding its way past granite outcrops and majestic grass trees, with stunning views of the Helena Valley River and Mundaring Weir.

The walk features beautiful wildflowers between August and November and is suitable for all skill levels.

The trail begins at the red/white trailhead sign in Fred Jacoby Park and then heads  underneath the historic Mundaring to Kalgoorlie pipeline and into the forest.

Please note dogs are not allowed on the trail as it's in a national park - however they are allowed in the dog exercise area in Fred Jacoby Park.
