The inspiration of Dom Salvado who sat with and served the indigenous people, and who learnt from them their beliefs and ways was rare in the world of missionaries. The Pilgrim Trail walk is inspirational, and it has been memorable to walk it twice. Most inspirational has been to stand side by side with a small group of people who have spent hundreds of hours voluntarily to extend and improve the trail over 5 years. We have taken it to people in Australia ,and have received interest from overseas. Join us as a walker or an enthusiastic working Board member, or make a donation to an extraordinary adventure.

I have to give the Pilgrim Trail a 5 because I've already seen the impact it's had on those who have already walked it. Now Schools have heard about it and are exposing their students to the holistic experience it provides. It has taught me so much and has brought me into direct contact with the Whadjuk and Yued peoples who have treasured this area for the past 40,000 years. The story of Salvado and Serra is the history of the beginning of the Swan River Settlement in WA. And the scenery ....!!. And all of this in "your own backyard" Perth!
