Mount Baldy Lookout Trail is one of several excellent walks, best undertaken near sunrise or late afternoon. The trail is uneven and rises fairly easily up to the summit of Mount Baldy.

Vegetation along the way is typically Savannah with stands of Kimberley heather or turkey bush. Colourful yellow kapok flowers and cabbage gums are also about. The summit offers fantastic panoramic views of Cockburn Ranges.

Unlike the flatter areas where the trail goes through, the lookout is practically treeless with the exception of a lone wild mango. There is mobile 3g coverage on top, if you feel the need. A detailed fact sheet and map is available at Home Valley Station reception and gift shop. All trails near Home Valley Station are well marked with plenty of interpretive signage.
