Curious when I saw this trail had a Top Trail mark but had never heard of it before. Totally deserves it though. Beautifully maintained, well marked and so scenic. One of my favourite trails in the South West.

Great running trail and also makes a beautiful walk trail. It is well signed (signs were replaced or remarked early 2016 I think) there is 180m of elevation over the loop. The full loop is actually 8.8km - 8.9km so a little short of the 10km suggested, If you add in the shorter 1.5km trail around the creek/dam thing 10km is possible for those looking for distance. Great view from the lookout around the 8km mark. 3 main hill climbs get the heart rate and lactic acid pumping. Mainly solid bush sand or pea gravel surfaces that are in good condition. Plenty of Kangaroos, Cockatoos and other wild life around the course. Toilets, water fountain and BBQ huts (Electric BBQ's) at the main carpark. A shorter 1.5km loop around the dam is also a nice run/walk. There is a 600m concrete pathway around the dam / creek thing where my kids spend hours racing each other on their bikes while I'm cooking lunch. Love this trail, run out there every couple of weeks. Beautiful.

A really enjoyable walk, most of the trail is in the bush with very few tourists when we went. The trail is quite easy but concentration and focus is required in some spots along the trail. Definitely worth visiting!

Nice walk with good signage markers.... It is quite an easy walk with no real challenges....
