Jarrahdale Bridle Trail

About the Trail

Jarrahdale Bridle Trail is 26km long and is rocky, steep with gravel tracks, horses need to be booted or shod. There are some very steep hills so Breastplates are a must.

Several small creeks seasonally flow west to where  there are views across the farmlands to the coastal plain and south over the expanse of forest. The trail is well marked and minimal float parking is available at the corner of Buckland and Jarrahdale Roads but no facilities.

There is extensive float parking and water available also at the Jarrahdale Oval, this will involve riding across Nettleton Road to the old Alcoa railway line and riding down to Buckland Road which can add a further few km's to the ride.
