      Easy trail with modified or hardened surface, and gentle hills or occasional steps. Clear directional signage. No bushwalking experience required. May be suitable for assisted wheelchair users (if ramps are provided at steps).

This flat 1.1km trail can be walked or driven and is suitable for 2WD vehicles, but not caravans or long vehicles. From September to November you will be treated to a spectacular display of wildflowers.

This trail is named after the beautiful Eucalyptus Macrocarpa, which is commonly found in this area.

This trail is named after the beautiful Eucalyptus Macrocarpa, which is commonly found in this area. 

The trail is a loop and should be driven in a clockwise direction. Keep to the right on your way around.

Numbered markers have been placed at intervals along the trail highlighting interesting features you may see. Download the brochure or pick one up from the Kulin Visitor Centre for more information about the markers

With a bit of luck goannas, bobtails and a variety of birds can be spotted while walking along the Macrocarpa Trail.

Watch out for snakes along the trail when walking. You may also encounter termite mounds in the middle of the track while driving.

Wonderful display of wildflowers and in particular orchids this time of year.

An absolute gem of a trail during Wildflower season with an abundance of Orchids on display. They even mark them so they can be found easily, preventing people from trampling through the bush, Can be walked or driven.
