Emu Walk, Giralia Station

The Emu walk is a loop trail that goes down the old runway where Stuart Desert Peas grow in season.  There are 360 degree panoramic views from the top of the sand escarpment. You can also access the escarpment by car if you don’t want to do the walk.

About the Trail

The walk is over flat ground with a maximum of a two-metre rise and is well sign posted. There are rest stations on all walks. The wildflowers are abundant in late winter and spring (August to October). The property has stunted wattle, buffel grass, spinifex, blue bottlebrush and snake wood trees.  This is a nice place to view the sunset.

Giralia Station is an old sheep station on the Exmouth Gulf, 125km south of Exmouth.
