The Baldwin Bluff Trail is a great bushwalk, and makes a perfect addition to a visit to Serpentine National Park. Combined with Kitty's Gorge trail, and Stacey's Loop, it can offer a full day experience in the bush, particularly during the wildflowers season. Trail runners would also enjoy the combination of surfaces and gradients over these trails.

This track requires reasonable fitness to climb up gravel tracks, through jarrah, marri then jarrah woodlands, before reaching the exposed granite at the summit. The lookout offers great views over the Perth Coastal Plan and Serpentine River Valley.

The trail starts on the south side of the Serpentine Falls carpark, next to the toilet block. The area has picnic and BBQ facilities. The Serpentine National Park opens every day between 8:30am and 5.00pm, with standard entry fees charged at the entrance of the carpark.

Better than I expected although the first km is a doozy. Once up on the ridge though it is quite beautiful and then the views rather speccy.

The first section was pretty steep, but it levelled out after the initial climb to a pleasant, rolling walk. The view from the top of the hills and the falls was pretty special.

Nice trail with lots of kangaroos and some lovely trees and rocks along the way. View up the top is nice but was a bit confused as it didn't have any sort of signage up the top apart from a mountain of rocks

This is a great hike with steep incline sections. Not a lot to see along the way, but the view at the top is worth the climb. The facilities at the beginning of the hike trail (Serpentine Fall National Park) are well equiped with clean flushing toilets and hand washing facilities. There are plenty of BBQs and picnic spots at the start of the trail as well.
