Terms & Conditions

By submitting images through trailswa.com.au, you are granting permission to Trails WA Inc. to use the content in accordance with the terms below:

1. Ownership and Copyright
   You confirm that you either:
   • Are the original photographer and hold full copyright, or
   • Have secured permission to submit the image(s) for Trails WA use from the copyright holder.
2. Licence to Use
   You grant Trails WA Inc. a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to:
   • Use, reproduce, adapt and publish the image(s) for the purposes of promoting trails, trail towns and trail networks via the Trails WA website, social media, newsletters, printed materials and digital communications.
   • Use the image(s) in documents and communications intended for stakeholders, industry, and the public.
3. Third-Party Business Use
   You understand that images submitted via TrailsWA.com.au may be used in advertising or promotional materials involving Trail Friendly Businesses or other commercial partners without your explicit written consent. 
4. Photographer Credit
   Trails WA will always credit the photographer when an image is used, regardless of platform or format.
5. No Compensation
   You understand that no payment or compensation is provided for image usage.
6. Content Responsibility
   You confirm that the image(s) are suitable for public distribution and do not contain offensive, defamatory or unlawful content. You also confirm that consent has been obtained from any recognisable individuals in the photo(s).
