Terms and Conditions of Image Use - Images supplied from Trails WA

These terms apply to all images supplied by Trails WA for use in association with media releases.

By downloading or using any of the supplied images, you agree to the following conditions:

1. Permitted Use
Images may be used solely and exclusively for editorial purposes that promote or report on the Trails WA Mobile App and its associated launch campaign.
Usage must be non-commercial, unless part of an unpaid editorial news item or article.
Images must not be used for unrelated publications, advertising, commercial campaigns, or any content not directly linked to the Trails WA media release.

2. Attribution
All images must be credited as per the file name, which will include the original copyright holder (e.g. Photo credit: Tourism WA or Photo credit: [Photographer's Name]).
Credits must appear clearly either in the caption or within the image metadata if embedded digitally.

3. Ownership
Copyright in all images remains with Tourism Western Australia or the named photographer.
These terms do not transfer any rights of ownership or copyright to the user.

4. Alterations
Images may be cropped or resized only for layout purposes, provided the integrity and context of the image are not compromised.
No other edits (e.g. applying filters, overprinting, or adding logos/text) may be made without prior written consent from Trails WA.

5. Expiry of Use
Use of these images is authorised only for the duration of the media campaign promoting the topic.
Any continued use or republication outside this context requires written approval from Trails WA.

6. Breach of Conditions
Misuse of these images, including failure to provide attribution or use outside the scope described above, may result in withdrawal of usage rights and further action as required to protect the rights of the image owner.
