Trails WA Inc. is delighted to announce the much-anticipated results of the People's Choice Top Trails for 2023. Revealed on the 8th of January 2024, these exceptional trails have been handpicked by the public, showcasing the breathtaking natural beauty and diverse landscapes that Western Australia has to offer.

After an overwhelming response from the community, Trails WA Inc. is proud to present the top ten trails that have captured the hearts and votes of trail enthusiasts across the state, with the 1,000km Munda Biddi Trail taking the trophy as the top pick. 
 
Here’s the list of the top ten:

10. Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, Perth Hills
9. Castle Rock, Porongurup National Park
8. Nancy’s Peak, Porongurup National Park
7. Bluff Knoll, Stirling Range National Park
6. Eagle View, John Forrest National Park
5. Kitty’s Gorge, Serpentine National Park
4. Bibbulmun Track, Kalamunda To Albany
3. Bald Head Walk Trail, Torndirrup National Park
2. Cape to Cape Track, Margaret River
1. Munda Biddi Track, Mundaring To Albany
 
The winning trails, ranging from coastal to inland bush tracks and long-distance challenges, offer a glimpse into the unique and picturesque landscapes that make Western Australia a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Whether it's the awe-inspiring views, the rich biodiversity, or the sense of physical challenge that these trails provide, each one has its own story to tell.

“We’re grateful to all the trail users who voted in this year’s People's Choice Top Trails” says Suzanne Hillier, Chair of Trails WA. “There’s no better way to encourage others to explore and appreciate WA’s natural wonders than through the recommendations of other trail users”.
