This year’s selection highlights the very best Drive Trails (2WD and 4WD), Paddle Trails and WA Heritage & Urban Trails, offering adventurers, nature lovers and culture seekers unforgettable journeys through the heart of WA.

Trails WA, in collaboration with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) and the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC), is excited to introduce Collie and Dwellingup as WA’s premier Mountain Bike Trail Towns.

This trail-blazing list is brimming with the freshest outdoor adventures in Western Australia, with detailed maps and information available to make your next adventure a breeze. 

The most highly anticipated trail re-opening of 2022 is finally here! The popular and spectacular Bald Head traill in Torndirrup National Park is now re-opened and ready to receive hikers looking for a challenge. 

The Bikepacking Essentials Series (TBES), run by the Munda Biddi Trail Foundation, is aimed at novice-to-intermediate MTB and gravel riders who want to have a bikepacking adventure involving an overnight trip. An End-to-end on the Munda Biddi Trail is a bucket list item, and they have assembled a fantastic series of practical clinics to get you prepared. 

The Parks and Wildlife Service of the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions are building a new multi-million-dollar suspension bridge that will allow direct access to the Murray Valley mountain bike trails on the southern bank, as well as providing an awesome viewing platform when the mighty Murray is flowing.
