The Shire of Menzies invites both locals and visitors to join in for an unforgettable winter evening under the stars. The event will blend the warmth of a crackling campfire with the breathtaking majesty of the cosmos, all wrapped up in an immersive, silent soundscape. Grab your blankets, head down to the viewing area, and settle in for a magical night.
There will be:
Silent Disco Headsets ($10 each): Featuring two custom channels to completely tailor your evening. Tune into Channel 1 for a guided meditation and manifestation session, or switch to Channel 2 for a relaxed, ambient outback music playlist. A Community Fire Pit: “yarn by the fire” complete with cozy haybale seating, marshmallows and hot billy tea.
Telescope Viewing: For an incredible, close-up look at the moon and stars through our viewing equipment.
