Getting to Collie

Whether you choose to drive, walk or cycle to Collie (all possible options!), the journey to Collie is very scenic and provides plenty of interesting places to stop at on the way.

There are two options: Take the Freeway and Forrest Highway southbound from Perth for about 150km before turning east on Raymond Road and Coalfields highway to the town centre of Collie. For a more scenic option consider taking the turnoff to Pinjarra just after Mandurah, then make your way south on teh SW Highway through Waroona, Harvey and the Harris River State Forest.

Riding to Collie isn't as crazy as it sounds. You can take a few nights off and make your way there on the Munda Biddi Trail, which extends from Mundaring (about 35km east of Perth) to Albany in the Great Southern.

Walking is also an option belive it or not! The Bibbulmun Track is another incredible 1000km Track extending from Kalamunda in the Perth Hills all the way through to Albany. It's quite a distance to tackle on foot so please make sure you check the trail information and plan accrodingly.
