Wiilman Bilya Trail, Collie

About the Trail

It is a pleasant walk through this part of the Wellington National Park which features an opportunity to take in some fantastic panoramas of the Wellington Dam and to experience some of WA's unique eucalypt forests of Jarrah, Marri and Yarri (blackbutt) which the trail meanders through.

A series of bridges along the trail provides an added interest to the picturesque surrounds. The group campsite along the trail (Nyingarn) has an undercover area, picnic tables, toilets and tent sites but no sleeping shelters. The maximum group size is 25.

The trail is marked with a symbol of a walking boot with a brown background and is mounted on metal posts along the trail. It is a moderately challenging Class 4 walk between Wellington Dam and the Coalfields Highway. The trail is a full day walk in either direction with the option to camp over night at Nyingarn (echidna) campsite or at Potters Gorge.
