The Tall Gum Short Walk in Golden Valley Tree Park, Balingup, celebrates the majesty of Australia’s tall eucalypt trees. Along the way you will see mountain gums from Victoria and New South Wales, shining gums from Tasmania, silvertop ash from New South Wales and Victoria, broadleafed peppermint from New South Wales and Victoria.

There are other species of tall eucalypts, all well spaced so they will eventually grow to their full potential. An interpretive sign showing a 114-metre eucalypt superimposed against the 67-metre high Sydney Opera House effectively shows how massive these trees can get.

This is a fabulous short walk as part of the beautiful Golden Valley Tree Park in Balingup. There's a diverse range of Australian flora to be seen and the views from the top of the hill are stunning! You can take a dog on a lead plus it's a great spot for a picnic. Would definitely recommend spending time exploring this Park.
