About the Trail

The Ocean Beach Cycleway is a scenic, safe and family-friendly cycle and walkpath that is an easy ride off the roads all the way from the Denmark Visitor Centre to the Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving clubrooms at Ocean Beach.

The dual-use cycleway offers beautiful views along the way from residential and open farmland landscapes, to inlet water and ocean views closer to Ocean Beach. Places of interest along the way are the Little River, the Prawn Rock Channel, Ocean Beach Holiday Park, the Ocean Beach Lookout and the Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving Club.

The cycleway has direct linkages to other cyclepaths in Denmark, including the Inlet Drive cyclepath, the Munda Biddi Trail, the Denmark-Nornalup Heritage Rail trail, the Little River/Bibbulmun Track and the Denmark town cycle paths.

The pathway can be innundated in sections near Ocean Beach and Prawn Rock channel when the Wilson Inlet is full with winter rains.
