Ngurin Bush Tucker Trail, Roebourne

Overview

The Ngurin (Harding River) and all of the vegetation surrounding it holds great significance to the Ngarluma people, the traditional owners of this land.  This two kilometre loop walk features interpretive signage depicting bush tucker, bush medicines and other artefacts used by Aboriginal people in their traditional way of life, with some still being used today.

About the Trail

Enjoy this walk from the townsite which provides valuable information and learnings from Ngarluma Elders, David Walker, Pansy Hicks and Violet Samson

The walk starts at Roe Street in the Roebourne townsite.  Wear appropriate shoes as there is some rough terrain with loose rocks.
