The Glen Brook walking trails is a picturesque 4.5km, Class 3 trail with option for a shorter 2km loop. The trail is marked in an anti-clockwise direction following Glen Brook up to the dam and beyond where you will pass through scenic gullies and see impressive granite outcrops.

Situated in the Darling Ranges, John Forrest is the oldest National Park in Western Australia and passes through varied vegetation types, including heathlands, open wandoo woodlands and mixed jarrah marri-wandoo forest.

The Glen Brook trail provides a number of different options for a range of park visitors. Several bridges and linking trails allow for shorter options close to the carpark. For the more adventurous, the full 4.5km loop trail provided visitors with opportunities to explore the southern section of the park including the headwaters of Glen Brook.

Keep a good lookout for marker post amongst the rocky out crops to ensure you keep to the marked trail.

Great short walk through woodlands and grass trees, with kangaroos and many birds. This National Park is a close drive from Perth, with fantastic views over the city. A nice short escape!
