Bibbulmun Track Events - walking
The Bibbulmun Track Foundation runs over 80 events each year to suit all ages and most fitness levels. Ranging from day walks and weekends to week-long treks.
Cape to Cape Events – walking
The Friends of the Cape to Cape Track offer at least one guided walk on the Track each month led by one of their volunteers. For dates, visit ‘The Friends’ page on their website.
Jarrahdale Guided Walks and Market Days
The Jarrahdale Heritage Society regularly run guided walks showing Jarrahdale's most historic and beautiful sites. Why not combine your walk with a visit to the Jarrahdale Country Markets held every 4th Sunday of the month from 8am - 1pm.
Karri Cup Mountain Bike Challenge
Held over the Western Australian Labour Day long weekend each year (late February or early March) the Karri Cup Mountain Bike Challenge starts and finishes in the town of Northcliffe, 360 km south of Perth.
Surrounded by Karri, Marri and Jarrah forests and with the magnificent cliffs of the southern coastline only twenty minutes away, Northcliffe provides abundant opportunities to sample the natural wonders of WA’s south west.
The course is of 100 kilometres, in 25 kilometre stages and winds through scenic forest trails. Riders may choose the 100 kilometre endurance challenge or the equally challenging, but no less scenic 50 kilometre ride. The event caters for riders of all levels of experience and ability, with categories for both solo and team riders.
On the Saturday, visitors’ children can join with the local kids in the fun of the Karri Kids race around the purpose built Federation Track. A weekend for families and friends, majestic forest trails and non-stop-action cycling set amongst the natural beauty of the South West. For more information visit www.karricup.com.au
Munda Biddi Events - mountain biking

Nearer to Nature – walking, cycling, nature activities
The Department of Parks and Wildlife's Nearer to Nature team offers a variety of unique, enjoyable activities that help participants discover marvellous natural areas in and around Perth. Learn about Western Australia’s unique plants, animals and landscapes. Trek the Trail – walking and cycling
This annual free event takes place on a different section of the Railway Reserve Heritage Trail each year. Thousands flock to the Perth Hills each September to take part in this popular community event. Along the way, participants can enjoy art, entertainment and historical displays, as well as being able to experience the natural beauty of one of the State's best walking trails.
